I NEED A TRANSCRIPT
What do I do?
Students may stop by the curriculum office to fill out a transcript request form or they can request transcripts online at:
Most colleges do not require hard copies of official transcripts. Please do not request transcripts unless a hard copy is required. Counselors will upload transcripts for Common App and Send EDU.
SAT and ACT scores are not part of a transcript. You must request them separately from collegeboard.com and actstudent.org.
HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS
*A high school transcript is a legal document that shows all semester credits earned during a student’s high school years.
*Grades post to transcripts approximately 10 days after the end of each semester.
*When requesting transcripts plan ahead.
*Transcripts are processed on Thursdays and ready for pick-up on Friday. By signing below, I acknowledge I must pick up my processed transcripts at the Curriculum Office.
*Official transcripts are in a signed, sealed envelope with South Anchorage High School’s return address. When sending official transcripts to colleges students need to place the sealed envelope in an addressed envelope to the college and place stamps on the college addressed envelope before mailing.
*If the official transcript is not kept in the sealed envelope colleges will not accept them.
*Unofficial transcripts are used to fill out college applications, for scholarships or for insurance purposes.
*The curriculum office or the student’s counselor will provide students with one unofficial transcript and students can make additional copies as needed.
*All transcripts will show class ranks and GPA as well as all semester grades.
